Autumn is the season we decorate the interior and exterior of our homes with colorful pumpkins, gourds and mums. The blogosphere displays beautiful fall decor and Halloween treats. Yes, of course cookies! The extent of creativity is amazing. Have you seen the artsy pumpkins in vibrant colors and designs? We have come a long way from the ordinary orange, carving pumpkins. There are an abundance of choices from swan-shaped gourds to heirloom pumpkins, which come in a variety of colors from gray, blue and white to purple, black and pink. They even have their own names, one being the Cinderella pumpkin which originated in France … so the inspiration for these cookies.
