MINI LEMON TARTS/ Lights, Camera, Shoot!

Now into my fourth year of blogging, I recently upgraded my camera equipment. I was content to take cookie photos and movie tutorials with my easy and uncomplicated point-and-shoot camera. The downside was that time was required to tweak the photos before posting on this site. My husband, who is a photography buff has all kinds of fancy camera equipment and he often suggested using one of his cameras. I resisted the bulky and oh so complicated camera as things like aperture and shutter speed make my mind spin. I was content with my lightweight digital camera until the zoom feature stopped working. Well, my favorite present this past Christmas is my new compact Canon EOS Rebel. I just love the automatic features and there is even a setting for photographing food. The best part is that it takes less time to edit photos and my readers should enjoy sharper images. Come see my practice shots.

These Mini Lemon Tarts are made with only two ingredients and perfect for an easy dessert or brunch.

  2. LOL - welcome to the DSLR world! Your photos look great - I also back in the day went from a point and shoot to what I have now. It was a learning curve but so worth it! Looking forward to seeing what else you will be making (and shooting)!

    1. Hi there, Three ingredients are nice and easy too. The sugar likely cuts down on the tartness of the lemon. So glad you enjoy MCC!
