PREPPY CANDY CORN COOKIES/ A New Trend

Autumn has always been my favorite time of year a/k/a sweater weather. I love the browns, reds, oranges, greens and golds of the season and the colorful mums in the neighborhood gardens. Just after Labor Day bloggers begin posting fall themes. There are tons of pumpkin recipes for breads, cakes, muffins, cookies, cupcakes and even pumpkin cocktails. There are oodles of adorable Halloween crafts such as centerpieces, wreaths and costumes. Candy Corn is always a very hot topic even in cakes, cookie bars and fudge.

September is still summer in Northern Virginia so I wait until October to post my autumn themes. This is a fun cookie to decorate and to change things up a bit, I decorated these candy corn cookies in preppy pink and green. I may start a new trend, candy corn in all kinds of colors!
